This is simple, I would be Dr.No! I would be the one that everyone was out to get out of office (and probably would be a one termer) because I think government is too big, too wasteful, and too powerful.
You know you make a point in your own subtle way that I agree with and will expound on. Government is not a place you should become wealthy. It is a place of public service, not a career, not a place to go from millionaire to billionaire.
You want to claen up government?
Term limits, illegalize inside trading for congress, pass a balanced budget amendment, cut the pay for congress in half ($90,000.00 a year is plenty for a public servant), limit sessions of congress to 180 days a year, eliminate base-line budgeting and what start with a clean budget every year.
The Federal Government is sucking the life out of this country and sooner or later you must remove the parasite or the host will die.

I would be like Ron Paul...But I would also be myself. Growing up poor I know what it is like to be poor and will never forget that and would never forget what was sacrificed for me to be able to voice my right to make things right in this world. 2 terms max because it would ensure getting some things done. I would be a politician of integrity and stand by my core beliefs but will listen to my constituents and opponents and respect and try to understand where they are coming from to focus on the things that we both agree on. Less government is better because observing the current and past governments is is proof positive that it is not the answer to the ails of society. I would encourage innovation and inspiration from the people especially the children. I would be an advocate for underprivileged children all over the nation and the world and will listen to their voice so that we can learn from them.
